Medical Mission Trips

A mission trip allows you to give of yourself, serve others, and make a meaningful contribution to so many.  Join us in changing lives!.......... Including your own!

We believe the greatest transformations happen when we work hand in hand with the communities we serve. That’s why our medical mission is different from others.

We collaborate with the team of healthcare providers in the community that we serve to ensure continuity of care after we leave.

We Listen to the needs of the community, plan together, and come alongside them to achieve their goals and improve their lives both now and in the future.

Since our first medical mission trip in July 2022, we have seen over 5,000 patients, and performed over 20 life-saving surgeries!!

During our medical mission trip, our team members:

  • Direct patient care with medicine for common diseases

  • Vitamins for children and pregnant/breastfeeding women

  • Health education workshops

  • Lifesaving Surgeries

BHF Free Medical Clinic

  • We are in the process of opening a free medical clinic in Abak-Akwa Ibom State Nigeria where our local healthcare staff will be able to provide care to the community members who need it the most. Services will include:

    • Follow up with those seen by our medical/nursing teams during the mission trips.
    • Follow-up for chronic diseases including, but not limited to diabetes, hypertension, and asthma.
    • Laboratory testing such as blood glucose, hemoglobin testing, urine analysis, etc.
    • Distribute health education materials.

Why Join Us?

Many reasons!!! It is a Trip You'll Never Forget

There is nothing like standing in a small village and seeing firsthand how your contribution can bring hope and joy to people who desperately need it.

While we go to give by serving, what we get back is immeasurable.
